Marie Stopes ends project on poor mothers, newborns

Marie Stopes Bangladesh has successfully completed the project titled 'Urban Health: Strengthening Care for Poor Mothers and Newborns in Bangladesh', says a statement.
The project completion dissemination ceremony took place in the city on Monday.
Dr A E Muhiuddin Osmani, Joint Chief of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare was present as the chief guest of the event.
Dr. Mohammad Sharif, Director of the Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP) also attended the programme as the special guest.
The five-year project started in 2013 with support from Department for International Development (DFID), the department of United Kingdom's government responsible for administering overseas aid.
