Mariners emerge champions

Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club emerged champions in the Cute Women's Handball League beating Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club by 28-18 goals Wednesday at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city, reports BSS.
The winners led the first half by 15-10 goals.
Mariners were declared winners as they secured maximum nine points after completing the league matches while Moha -mmedan finished behind them with six points.
Gurmil of Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club was named the player of the match.
