Market for women opens in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Feb 1 (BSS): A market for the women was opened at Kalirbazaar under Fulchhari upazila of the district recently to enhance the access of the women to the market.
SKS Foundation, a local reputed NGO, constructed the market in the area in technical support of Action Aid Bangladesh with the financial assistance of European Union, sources said.
The objective of the market construction is to create market friendly environment for the women entrepreneurs so that they could sell their produced items and buy the essential commodities smoothly and without any hesitation.
UNO Mostafizur Rahman formally inaugurated the market amid much enthusiasm to the women.
