Market gets strong support from loose tea buyers

Good demand prevailed and well-made good liquoring teas were well supported at firm rates while others declined slightly. Blenders had strong support from the loose tea buyers. There was no export buying. Dusts saw a dearer market because of quality.
Ctc leaf: 21,357 packages and (73 packages of old season) on offer met with a good demand at slightly easier rates.
Brokens: Well-made good liquoring brokens had a fairly strong market but with only a slightly higher demand and these sold between Tk 138 and Tk 141. Others were easier by upto Tk 2.0.
Fannings: Well-made good liquoring fannings met with a strong demand and were generally firm. The best could be quoted between Tk 139 and Tk 142. Other types were easier often by Tk 2.0 to Tk 3.0.
Ctg dust: 3,912 packages on offer met with an improved demand. All others were sold depending on quality. Plainer liquoring varieties saw an easier market. International market lent good support to importers.
