Market gets support from tea buyers

There was a strong market in the past week and prices appreciated with the progress of sale. Blenders were once again very active. There was also some interest from the loose tea buyers. As a result, prices moved up by a fair margin particularly for the good liquoring types.
Theses were a stronger market at dearer rates particularly the better liquoring types.
CTC LEAF: 26,634 packages on offer met with a strong demand with prices appreciating further.
BROKENS: Well made good liquoring Brokens were very strongly competed for and advanced by Tk 3.00 to Tk 5.00 and these sold between Tk 205.00 and Tk 210.00. All other varieties particularly the liquoring types were often dearer by Tk 1.00 to Tk 2.00.
FANNINGS: Good liquoring Fannings once again met with a strong demand and were dearer by Tk 2.00 to Tk 4.00 and sold between Tk 205.00 and Tk 209.00.
CTC DUST: 3,336 packages on offer were met with a better market and sold at mostly dearer rates. Better liquoring varieties were keenly competed dearer by Tk 5.00 to 10.00. Blenders lent strong support with fair interest from the loose buyers.
