Mashrafe captain, Shakib vice-captain

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Sunday picked up a 15-member World Cup final squad for the upcoming ICC World Cup to be held in Australia and New Zealand in February, reports BSS.
Speedster Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has been named as the captain while Shakib Al Hasan is made his deputy of the squad. Left-hand batsman 21-year-old Soumya Sarkar, who played only one One-Day-International(ODI) against Zimbabwe, has been included into the squad.
BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papan, MP, formally announced the squad at a press conference at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Fast bowler Shafiul Islam has been taken into the squad as a standby while another name for the same position is yet to be confirmed.
Members of national team selection committee Farque Khan, Menhazul Abaden Nannu and Habibul Bahsar Suman were also present.
15-member of World Cup squad: Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (captain), Shakib Al Hasan (vice captain), Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Tamim Iqbal, Nasir Hossain, Mominul Haque, Anamul Haque, Taskin Ahmed, Arafat Sunny, Sabbir Rahman, Soumya Sarkar, Rubel Hossain, Taijul Islam and Al Amin Hossain.
