Mashrafe leads Tigers in most ODI victories

Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has become the most ODI winning leader of Bangladesh after leading his side for a 91-run win against Zimbabwe in the 5th match of the Tri-nation series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in the city on Tuesday, reports UNB.
The 34-year old cricketer, popularly known as Narail Express for his pace bowling, Mashrafe captained his side so far in 53 matches for 30th victory against 21 losses while remaining two matches had seen no results.
Habibul Bashar was the previous most winning leader of the Tigers, registering 29 wins against 40 losses in 69 matches.
Under Mashrafe's captaincy, Bangladesh reached the quarterfinal stage for the first time in the ICC World Cup 2015 in Australia.
Mashrafe captained Bangladesh ODI side to play in the semifinals stage of the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017, also for the first time in this world event.
Making his ODI debut in November 2001, Mashrafe so far played 185 ODIs for the national side.
