Massive education reforms in the offing

Education ministry has planned massive education reforms at secondary and higher secondary levels through discussions at different stages. To discuss the matter elaborately, five sessions would be organised at inter-official daylong programme at NAEM on September 27. A workshop would also be arranged comprising renowned educationists of the country in this regard. Many issues, including making the current policy and rules and regulations more modernised and realistic regarding institutionally under-served at secondary stage, giving permission for lesson, giving academic recognition, opening branch at higher secondary level and honours at degree level would be discussed at the sessions. — UNB
