MasterCard launches \\\'Card-Start-Go!\\\' Campaign

MasterCard launched a unique campaign called 'Card-Start-Go!' for its Debit cardholders Saturday.
The campaign runs till May 31st, 2015.
'Card-Start-Go' is a nationwide campaign with participation from a number of banks such as BRAC Bank, Dutch Bangla Bank, Premier Bank, Prime Bank, Pubali Bank and The City Bank, said a statement.
Under this campaign, whenever a MasterCard cardholder uses his or her Debit Card for a personal consumption transaction of minimum BDT 1,000, they immediately earn points. To be eligible for participating in this Campaign, a MasterCard Debit Cardholders need to do at least four (4) transactions of minimum BDT 1,000 each during the campaign period. The top point scorers win more than 100 exciting prizes which include air tickets to Malaysia for 2 nights & 3 days stay, mobile phones and gift vouchers.
The aim of the campaign is to encourage cardholders to use their Debit cards for payments-related purposes instead of having them used only as an ATM Card. In Bangladesh, of all the Debit cards issued, a significant part of the transaction volume accounts for only cash withdrawals at ATMs. MasterCard's 'Card-Start-Go' campaign hopes to change this habit for the ease and benefit of cardholders.
