Matiur Rahman NOAB president, AK Azad vice president

Editor and publisher of the daily Prothom Alo Matiur Rahman and publisher of the daily Somokal AK Azad have been elected president and vice-president respectively of the Newspapers Owners Association of Bangladesh (NOAB).
Chief Editor of the daily Manobzamin Matiur Rahman Chowdhury has been reelected treasurer.
The new committee was formed on June 8 last in a meeting of the NOAB executive committee, said a NOAB press release issued Tuesday.
Other members of the newly-formed executive committee are: Editor and publisher of the daily Star Mahfuz Anam, acting Editor of the Ittefaq Tasmima Hossain, Editor of the daily Azadi Abdul Khaleque, chairman of the editorial board of the daily New Age Shahidullah Khan, Editor of the Financial Express Moazzem Hossain and Editor of the News Today Reazuddin Ahmed.
