Mawa-Kaurakandi ferry service resumes

MUNSHIGANJ, Jan 13 (BSS) - The ferry services between Mawa and Kaurakandi route were restored at 9.00am following disruption of services for six hours due to dense fog.
Vehicles and passengers of the southern region were standard due to suspension of movement of Ro Ro ferry, Bhasha Shaheed Barkat, Kabari and Raniganj.
BIWTA sources said the ferries were forced to anchor in the middle of the Padma River with vehicles having 1,000 passengers.
