Maya visits city slum after fire

Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, Bir Bikram, visited the fire-affected areas at the city's Madhubagh, reports BSS.
The minister conveyed sympathy to the affected people especially slum dwellers that live from hand to mouth.
Speaking on the occasion, Maya said the fire incident has caused irreparable loss.
He said he will distribute relief materials among the affected dwellers at 12.30 today (Sunday). The devastating fire broke out in Saturday morning at a rickshaw garage at Madhubagh in the city's Moghbazar area, killing a child.
