Mayor calls for turning Rangpur into a modern city

RANGPUR, Aug 26 (BSS): Mayor of Rangpur City Corporation (RCC) Alhaj Sarfuddin Ahmed Jhantu here Wednesday called for turning Rangpur into a modern and eco-friendly city ensuring all civic services. He put special emphasis on implementation of the infrastructural developments like roads, culverts, sewerage systems, offices, institutions, recreation places, water and electricity supply, industries as per the master plan in a long-term manner.
He said this while presiding over the regular monthly meeting of the City Corporation at Nagar Bhaban conference room in the city.
City councilors from all wards and officials of RCC attended the meeting.
Chief Executive Officer of RCC Alhaj Ruhul Amin Khan delivered welcome speech narrating the massive infrastructural developments activities completed so far and the other ongoing uplift activities in the city and future action plan.
