Mazid gets Mahatma Gandhi Peace Award

As the introducer of credit card (plastic card) and pioneer of modern banking in Bangladesh, director of Premier Bank Limited and banker Kazi Abdul Mazid has been awarded 'Mahatma Gandhi Peace Award 2010' at a function at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city Thursday, according to a press release.
Language movement veteran Abdul Matin was present as the chief guest and gave away the 'Mahatma Gandhi Peace Award 2010' to Kazi Abdul Mazid.
Former Chief Justice Habibur Rahman Khan presided over the function.
