MBL-Abdul Jalil Education Scholarship awarded at Senbag

"Mercantile Bank-Abdul Jalil Education Scholarship" has been awarded among 47 students at a ceremony organized at Senbag Upazilla Parishad Auditorium in Noakhali recently. Alhajj Morshed Alam, MP, Chairman of Mercantile Bank Limited handed over the cheques and the certificates of the scholarship. In his speech, the chief guest mentioned that education is the highest priority to the government. To march with this government effort Mercantile Bank continues awarding scholarships among talented and poor students all over the country. He added that Mercantile Bank is awarding one crore seventy lakh taka among 1129 students this year. Dr. Md. Nurul Islam, Deputy Managing Director & CFO of MBL, Md. Minhazur Rahman, UNO of Senbag and Mizanur Rahman, OC of Senbag along with other distinguished guests were present at the scholarship giving ceremony.
