Medical admission: 48,448 pass tests for 11,049 seats

Results for the written test for entry to medical and dental colleges have been published. A total of 48,448 students have cleared the tests for 11,049 seats in MBBS and BDS courses in these colleges. Almost 88,000 students took the admission test on Friday and 58.4 per cent of them cleared it. State Minister for Health Zahid Maleque officially announced the results at a media briefing on Sunday noon.
Aspirants, seeking admission to medical and dental colleges, however, have started receiving results on their mobile phones in the morning. Health department officials said that they have sent text messages to phone numbers provided by the aspirants before taking the test.
The results are also available at website of the directorate general of health services (www.dghs.gov.bd), according to bdnews24.com.
