Medical centre, dental chamber sealed off

A Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) mobile court on Thursday sealed off a medical centre and punished five people, including its owner, for various irregularities. In another drive on Wednesday night, a Rab mobile court jailed two fake female dentists for different terms and sealed off their chamber in the city’s Kathalbagan area. Rab sources said members of Rab-1, led by Rab headquarters executive magistrate AHM Anwar Pasha, conducted a drive at ‘Star Medical Centre’ on Road-10 of Banani around 1pm. During the raid, the mobile court found various irregularities in providing health check-up to people who want to go abroad for employment, according to a news agency.
