Medicine worth Tk 6.0m seized at airport

Customs authority seized on Sunday a huge quantity of illegal medicine worth about Tk. 6 million (60 lakh) from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, in Dhaka, reports BSS.
The cache of medicine was seized from freight gate area of the airport around 3.30pm, assistant commissioner of customs Shahiduzzaman Sarker told the news agency.
The medicine was smuggled in the country from Thailand, he also said. A case was filed in this connection.
