Meet on women's role in controlling tobacco today

A discussion on 'Participation of women in controlling tobacco' jointly organised by Adhunik and World Health Organisation (WHO) will be held at National Press Club today (Friday), reports UNB.
National Professor and founder of Adhunik Prof Dr Nurul Islam will preside over the meeting which will be attended by Health and Family Welfare Ministry Adviser Prof Dr Modasser Ali as the chief guest.
Prof Mozaffar Ahmad, member of the Trustee Board of Transparency International, Bangladesh, and Dr Arup Ratan Chowdhury will be the special guests while Chief Adviser of Ekushey Television Atikul Haque Chowdhury the honorable guest.
President of the CAT (Coalition Against Tobacco) and Senior Vice President of Adhunik Amanullah Khan will deliver the welcome address, while Barrister Tania Ameer will highlight the significance of the topic.
