Meeting discusses joint enclave survey

LALMONIRHAT, July 2: A meeting for finalising a joint survey of the 162 Bangladesh-India border enclaves was held between the authorities concerned of both the countries at the Burimari land port on Thursday. Deputy commissioner of Kurigram ABM Azad led the 15-member Bangladesh delegation at the meeting while the 15-member Indian delegation was headed by Kuchbihar district magistrate P Ulganathan. Lalmonirhat deputy commissioner Habibur Rahman, who is also part of the Bangladesh delegation, told reporters that both sides discussed various issues relating to the enclaves during the meeting. — UNB
