Mega trade show in KL from Jan 8

Bangladesh Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) is going to organise a mega trade show ‘Showcase Bangladesh 2010’ in Kuala Lumpur from January 8 until 10, next year, aiming to promote the country’s export products, culture and heritage in Malaysia.
The three-day trade show is set to become the most exciting event in Kuala Lumpur, Secretary General of BMCCI and Chief Coordinator of the mega event Syed Moazzam Hossain told the FE.
Bangladeshi exporters of all sectors will showcase their products and services in 55 stalls allocated for the purpose, Mr Hossain said.
“We are all set for the major display of Bangladeshi exports and culture on the land of Asia’s first growing economy,” the Secretary General of BMCCI claimed adding that they would head a 150 member delegation comprising chamber leaders, exporters and other important persons from Bangladesh.
BMCCI organising the first ever Bangladesh trade show in Malaysia in collaboration with Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur. The event is also supported by Malaysia South-South Association (MASSA) and the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) in Malaysia.
According to the event organisers office, Malaysian Minister of Trade and Industry would inaugurate the exhibition as chief guest organised at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) Kuala Lumpur. Muhammad Faruk Khan, Commerce Minister of Bangladesh will attend the inaugural session as special guest, the office source added.
