Meghna Bank gets three new directors

Three new directors -- Imrana Zaman Chowdhury, Tarana Ahmed and SM Rezaur Rahman -- have been elected to the board of Meghna Bank Limited, according to a statement.
Recently, Bangladesh Bank approved these three as directors on the board of Meghna Bank.
Imrana Zaman Chowdhury is a successful industrialist. Currently she is the director of Navana Pharmaceuticals Limited. She is also a director of Light House Navigation Limited and Menticore Technology Limited. She was born in a noble family of Chattogram. She also completed her graduation from Independent University. Apart from leading various industrial, commercial and economic activities of the country, she is also engaged in social and cultural development works.
Tarana Ahmed is a very successful entrepreneur in Bangladesh. Besides Meghna Bank, she is also holding the position of director of Navana Pharmaceuticals Limited. She performs important duties in several other industrial establishments. In addition, she has engaged herself in social development activities.
SM Rezaur Rahman has been performing important duties as a financial sector and stock market expert for 35 years. Currently he is with Square Pharmaceuticals Limited as an independent director. He has served as director in CVO Petrochemical Refinery Limited and Square Textiles Limited. He completed his graduation in economics from Dhaka University.
