Meghna Bridge opens to traffic

Vehicular movement resumed from 12 noon Saturday on the Meghna Bridge on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway as authorities lifted ban after 18 hours, Communications Ministry sources said. The restriction was imposed at 6:00pm Thursday for emergency repair of the bridge. The ministry is expected to open the bridge to full traffic on November 30 one week before the schedule. — BSS
