Meghna Life AGM approves 15 per cent diviend

The 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Meghna Life Insurance Company Limited was held on a digital platform on Thursday with the company's Chairman Nizam Uddin Ahmed in the chair, says the company in a statement.
The AGM approved 15 per cent dividend for the shareholders for the year 2023.
The AGM was informed that the company settled insurance claims worth Tk 4.46 billion (446.41 crore) in the year. The EPS (earning per share) of the company was Tk 1.56 in 2023.
The AGM was joined, among others, by vice chairman Nasir Uddin Ahmed (Pavel), directors Hasina Nizam, Reaz Uddin Ahmed, ANM Fazlul Karim Munshi, Md. Moin Uddin, Sabita Ferdousi, Sharmin Nasir, Dilruba Sharmin, Prof. Ansar Ali and Mohammad Ahsan Ibne Kabir as well as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) NC Rudra.
