Menace of forged currency notes

Friday, 14 November 2014

The regular busting of the dens of fake currency manufacturers is no doubt a laudable feat accomplished by the law enforcers. But these raids seem to be a mere tip of the iceberg. That's what alarms us.
Before buying things from the market, I check every big-denomination note for even the faintest sign of forgery. It might also happen the other way round. Everybody wants to remain safe and free of any unnecessary hassles. But continued checking of notes manually takes chunks of valuable time away from our life. The task is tiring also. The syndicates engaged in currency note forgery will not leave us in peace.
With the periodic swoops on them, it becomes clear they are a formidable force, widely spread across the country.
To speak bluntly, the syndicates of currency note forgery have made monetary transaction in the country a real hazardous job.
