MERCANTILE BANK CELEBRATES 27TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY

Mercantile Bank celebrated its 27th anniversary at its head office on Tuesday. Al-Haj Akram Hossain (Humayun), the bank's vice chairman, inaugurated the programme by cutting a cake as chief guest with directors and senior executives of the bank. Mati Ul Hasan, managing director, delivered his welcome speech on the occasion. M. A. Khan Belal, chairman, executive committee; Mohammad Abdul Awal, chairman, risk management committee; A.S.M. Feroz Alam, sponsor director, and independent directors Professor Dr. Mohammad Thoufiqul Islam & Professor Nasrin Sultana also spoke on the occasion.
