Mercantile Bank donates Tk 0.5m to Shahjalal Varsity

Mercantile Bank Limited, as a part of its corporate social responsibility, donated an amount of Tk 0.5 million (Tk 5.00 lac) to Shahjalal University of Science and Technology for construction of a colony for the sweepers.
Mercantile Bank Audit Committee Chairman Toufique Rahman Chowdhury handed over the cheque to Vice Chancellor Saleh Uddin at the syndicate office of the university recently.
Mercantile Bank Sylhet branch head Imam Kabir Chowdhury and Manager (Operation) Debojyoti Majumdar were also present on the occasion, said a press release.
