Mercantile Bank donates Tk 20m to flood victims

Mercantile Bank has donated Tk 20 million for relief and rehabilitation of flood victims. Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, managing director, and Mati Ul Hasan, additional managing director of the bank, has deposited one day's salary of the bank's officials to the Chief Adviser's Relief Fund. Subhash Chandra Das, deputy managing director, Sonali Bank, received the cheque. Mercantile Bank is distributing relief materials from the bank's CSR fund as well among flood-affected people through local branches and sub branches of the bank.
