Mercantile Bank holds workshop on Basel II implementation

Mercantile Bank Limited (MBL) organised a workshop on Basel II Implementation at its head office in the city recently.
Heads of credit of all branches of the bank took part in the workshop.
MBL Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dewan Mujibur Rahman inaugurated the workshop.
MBL Additional Managing Director AKM Shahidul Haque, Deputy Managing Director MA Shahjahan, and Senior Executive Vice-President Monindra Kumar Nath gave speeches focusing on the importance of Basel II implementation at the workshop.
The objective of the workshop was to create awareness among the credit officers of Basel II and its impact on selection and documentation of credit proposal.
