Mercantile Bank inks remittance deal with Seylan Bank

Mercantile Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Seylan Bank plc of Sri Lanka to facilitate remittance flow in Bangladesh through banking channel.
Deputy Managing Director of Mercantile Bank MA Shahjahan and General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Seylan Bank Ajita Pasqual signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies recently.
Among others, Managing Director (current charge) of Mercantile Bank AKM Shahidul Haque, Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) Md Abdul Jalil Chowdhury, SEVP and Chief Finance Officer Monindra Kumar Nath were present at the agreement signing ceremony.
