Mercantile Bank opens 46th branch

Mercantile Bank Ltd has opened its 46th branch along with the 17th ATM booth at RN Road in Jessore.
Chairman of the bank Md Abdul Jalil MP inaugurated the new branch Thursday, according to a press release.
First Vice Chairman of the bank MS Ahsan, Second Vice Chairman Golam Faruk Ahmed, Chairman of the audit committee of the bank's board of directors Dr Toufique Rahman Chowdhury, and directors were present on the occasion.
Dewan Mujbur Rahman, managing director and CEO of the bank, was also present in the inaugural ceremony.
In his speech as the chief guest, Mr Jalil said Mercantile Bank has been working sincerely for the socio-economic development of the country through its efficient human resources and modern technology based services since its inception.
He expressed the hope that the new branch of the bank would be able to offer best banking services to local people.
