MERCANTILE BANK SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH BANGLADESH BANK

Mercantile Bank PLC has signed a participation agreement with Bangladesh Bank (BB) on credit guarantee facility at the Jahangir Alam conference hall of the central bank recently. Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, Managing Direcor & CEO of Mercantile Bank, and Nahid Rahman, Director of the Credit Guarantee Department of BB, signed the agreement in presence of Nurun Nahar, Deputy Governor of BB. This credit facility will support women entrepreneurs in small enterprises and the agro-processing industry under a refinance scheme.
