Mercantile Bank starts Off Shore Banking

Mercantile Bank Limited has launched Off Shore Banking services from its Gulshan and Chittagong EPZ (export processing zone) branches. Chairman of the bank Md Abdul Jalil MP inaugurated the services as the chief guest in the city Sunday, said a press release. Among others, Vice chairmen of the bank M Amanullah and Md Anwarul Haq, directors Golam Faruk Ahmed, MS Ahsan, Akram Hussain (Humayun), ASM Feroz Alam, AKM Shaheed Reza, Md Nasiruddin Choudhury, sponsors SM Shakil Akhter and MA Khan Belal and Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer AKM Shahidul Haque, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Finance Officer Monindra Kumar Nath, Principal of bank's Training Institute Rabiul Hussain were present as the special guests.
