Mercantile Bank Limited (MBL) organised a day-long workshop on 'Understanding UCP-600' in the city recently.
MBL Deputy Managing Director AKM Shahidul Haque inaugurated the workshop.
MBL Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) and International Division head MA Yousuf Khan, and SVP and MBL Training Institute Principal Rafiquzzaman were present on the occasion.
BIAM's Centre for Post Graduate Studies Director Toufic Ahmed Chowdhury and SVP of the bank Shoaib Ahmed jointly conducted the workshop.
Thirty officials of the bank took part in the day-long workshop.
The workshop was aimed at familiarising the participants with the conceptual aspects of UCP-600 and how to implement it in the context of global trends of export and import businesses.
