Mercantile Co-operative Bank now in Joypurhat

JOYPURHAT, May 14: Mercantile Co-operative Bank opened Tuesday its 67th branch.
Chairman of the bank Group Captain Abu Zafor Chowdhury (Rtd) inaugurated the branch located at Jahanara Plaza sadar road in Joypurhat while local MP Mahafuza Rahman Rina was present as the chief guest.
Lieutenant Colonel Zahurul Islam (Rtd) and Major Hamidul Hossain Tareq(Rtd) Bir- Bicrom were present as special guests.
In his speech the chairman said the small traders of the district will be benefited from the bank.
Among others, Md Akhtaruzzaman, Director of the bank captain Nasimul Haque (Rtd) and branch manager of the district Sahin Iqbal, Mayor of Joypurhat Municipality Fazlur Rahaman were also present on the occasion.
