Meridian Finance's Islamic Window Shariah supervisory committee meets

The first Shariah Supervisory Committee meeting of Meridian Finance's Islamic Window was held at its Head Office in the capital's Gulshan area recently, says a press release.
Muhammad Riazul Hoque, Chairman of Shariah Supervisory Committee, presided the meeting. Managing Director & CEO Quazi Nizam Ahmed, CFO & Company Secretary Md. Wahid Murad FCA and Secretary of the committee Nafiz Iftekher were also present along with other members.
The members expressed their opinions on various aspects of Shariah-based operation under this window.
The commencement of Shariah-based operation would help Meridian Finance and Investment Limited broaden its scope of service delivery to their customers through its branch network located in Dhaka, Gazipur, Bogura and Chattogram, they expressed their hope.
