Mexico President Pena, Prof Yunus open Global Social Business Summit

The Global Social Business Summit-2014 got under way in Mexico on Tuesday, according to a message received in Dhaka on Wednesday. Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and Bangladesh’s Nobel Peace Laureate Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus jointly inaugurated the four-day summit in Mexico City, the capital of the oil-rich North American country, in the afternoon (local time). The theme of this year’s summit is ‘Shaping Social Business – to Shape the World of 2020’. The annual meet have brought experts from the private sectors, civil society, government and academia in Mexico. Global Social Business Summit is the leading forum for social business worldwide, according to a press release.
