Microbus hijacked, driver killed

GAZIPUR, Oct 18 (BSS): A group of miscreants hijacked a microbus along with its driver Pervez, 18, and helper Shuruj, 20, from Gazipur on Friday afternoon.
Miscreants threw away its helper Shuruj in a unconscious condition at Ghurashal area about 9.00pm. They killed its driver after crossing the Moezuddin Bridge in Ghurashal and threw away the body there.
After gaining consciousness helper of the microbus Shuruj informed it to police. Later, Palash Thana police recovered the body of driver Pervez from a ditch on Narsingdi-Ghurashal road this morning.
Meanwhile, Jaydebpur Thana police recovered the hijacked microbus from Turag Thana area in Uttara on Saturday morning.
