Microbus with huge cache of drugs seized in city

Police on Thursady seized a microbus along with 50kg cannabis, 350 bottles of phensidyl, two passports and Tk10,000 from capital’s Kadamtali area.
The recovery was made from Palashpur area under Kadamtali Police Station around 1:15 am, a police official told a news agency.
Drug peddler Abdul Matin and his wife Rekha Akhter managed to flee from the scene sensing presence of the law enforcers, he also said.
A case was lodged in this connection.
