MIDAS gets new MD

M Khairul Bashar has been appointed Managing Director of MIDAS, says a press release.
In its recent Board Meeting, MIDAS welcomed Mr Bashar as its new Managing Director.
The Board of Directors expressed their trust in Mr Bashar to lead MIDAS towards fulfilling its mission of fostering Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) growth, with the ultimate goal of poverty alleviation and employment generation in the country.
M Khairul Bashar is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) with broad experience in enterprise and private sector development.
Previously, he also held senior management positions within MIDAS and in other short and long-term consulting projects.
His academic background includes an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Dhaka University, and post-graduate studies at Maastricht School of Management, Maastricht University, the Netherlands.
