MIDLAND BANK HOLDS 13TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Midland Bank PLC (MDB) was held in a hybrid system, combining physical presence of shareholders at the B.N. Sagorika Hall, Naval Headquarters, Dhaka, with participation through a digital platform recently. Chairman of the bank Ahsan Khan Chowdhury presided over the AGM attended by Rezaul Karim, Chairman of the Executive Committee; Riaz Ahmed Choudhury, Independent Director & Chairman of the Audit Committee; Hafizur Rahman Sarker, Director; Mohammed Helal Miah, Director of the bank, and Imtiaz U. Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO. At the AGM, the shareholders approved a 3% cash dividend and a 3% stock dividend for the year 2025. Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Md. Nazmul Huda Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Ashiul Islam, Deputy Company Secretary, and Didarul Islam, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), were also present.
