Midland Bank's donation for flood victims

Midland Bank PLC has donated Tk 5.0 million to the Chief Adviser's Relief & Welfare Fund to support the people who have been suffering due to devastating flood.
The amount deposited to the Relief & Welfare Fund will be utilised to meet the essential needs of the flood victims. The bank donated the fund under its Annual CSR Programme 2024, says a press release.
Besides, employees of the bank have contributed Tk 21,36,915.55 from their August salary, half of which have been donated to the Chief Adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund for flood victims after deducting Tk 1,35,000 for the flood-effected staff of the bank. The remaining amount (Tk 10,68,457.78) will be donated to the Foundation, to be set up at the behest of the government, to help the injured of the July evolution.
