Mijanur made GM of Bangladesh Bank

DGM of Foreign Exchange Policy Department Mijanur Rahman has been promoted as General Manager to the Debt Management Department recently. It is a new department, has been created for managing public debt, says a press release.
Mijanur Rahman Joddar joined Bangladesh Bank as Assistant Director in 1984. He worked in Monetary Policy Department, Department of Banking Inspection, Human Resources Department and Training Academy.
He also worked in Motijheel, Barisal, and Sylhet offices of the bank.
He completed his Masters in Finance with honours from the University of Dhaka. He obtained MBA degree from the University of New Orleans. He also possesses post-graduate diploma from BIBM in Bank management.
