Milad Mahfil for Akhtaruzzaman Chy today

The second death anniversary of Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury, ex-MP, founding chairman of Janata Insurance Company Ltd (JICL) and United Commercial Bank Ltd and ex-president of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was observed Tuesday, said a press release.
Milad Mahfils will be held at JICL head office in the city and Agrabad branch in Chittagong today (Thursday) after Asar Prayers.
Akhtaruzzaman had died at Mount Elejabeth Hospital in Singapore on November 4, 2012, the release added.
