Mild heat wave likely to continue

Light rain accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Sunday), according to the Met Office.
Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, it said.
The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 34.7 degrees Celsius in Bhola and minimum was 21.1 degrees Celsius at Tatukia.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 33.6 degrees Celsius on Saturday and the lowest was 24.1 degrees.
The sun sets at 05.32pm today (Sunday) and rises at 05:57 am tomorrow (Monday) in the capital.
