Mild heat wave may sweep three divisions

Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Tuesday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at a few places over Mymensingh, Dhaka, Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions with moderately heavy falls over the country.
Mild heat wave may sweep over Sylhet, Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The Met Office recorded highest 77mm rainfall in Sylhet during the 24 hours until 06:00 am on Monday.
The highest temperature in the country was recorded at 36.4 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur of Rangpur division while the lowest temperature at 24.5 degrees Celsius in Sitakunda of Chattogram division.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.4 degrees Celsius on Monday and the lowest was 27.6 degrees.
