Mild heat wave sweeping some dists

Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country until 06:00 pm today (Saturday) according to the Met Office.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi division and the districts of Tangail, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Kurigram, Bagerhat, Jashore, Chuadanga and Kushtia and it may abate from some places.
The highest temperature in the country on Friday was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius in Faridpur while the lowest temperature 25.5 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 27.3 degrees.
