Mild tremor felt in Bangladesh

A mild tremor has been felt in parts of Bangladesh, from the port city of Chittagong to capital Dhaka. The earthquake, measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale, originated in Myanmar at 12:14am on Friday. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the epicentre of the quake was about 41 kilometres (km) below surface and 317 km east of Dhaka. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage, according to a news agency.
