Minimum age for FF recognition now 12.6 yrs

The government has set 12 years and 6 months as the minimum age for recognition as freedom fighter (FF) for those who took part in Liberation War in 1971, reports UNB.
The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs issued a circular on Wednesday afternoon in this regard.
According to the circular, the minimum age for one to be recognised as a FF must be 12 years and six months until the date of November 30 of 1971.Earlier on June 19 last year, the ministry had issued a circular declaring 13 years as minimum age for freedom fighter recognition.
