Ministerial meeting to be held in New Delhi

A ministerial meeting followed by a Ministerial Retreat of Rural Develop-ment Ministers of 14 countries of the Asia Pacific region will be held on June 24-26 in New Delhi, reports UNB.
The government of India and Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP) are jointly organising the programme.
The ministerial meeting which is a special meeting of the CIRDAP Governing Council (GC) will be held Tuesday and the Ministerial Retreat Wednesday and Thursday at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi.
Vice-president of India Mohammad Hamid Ansari will inaugurate the meeting Tuesday.
Ministers or their representatives from all of the 14 CIRDAP-member countries will participate in both the programmes.
